I believe this is a driver issue with the LSPCon DP converting switcher bridging to the HDMI port. I just had the same TV and receiver plugged into an older Ivy Bridge NUC (D32217GKE) with no problems whatsoever with these higher-def audio formats bitstreaming in the same manner.
